The artist has reduced seven white oxford shirts into a skeletal sculpture of seams. Shin stitched their bones together side by side as if on a clothesline and hung them limply and loosely, like deflated figures. Oxford shirts are the staple of the white-collar uniform, but these emptied shirts suggest a kind of endless and perhaps replaceable workforce. In Clothesline, the body is absent; only traces of the figure remain.
